My first post within the Green Tumb Sunday is a morning glory. This one deserves its name well as it caught me by surprise a couple of days ago as I was checking the garden before going to work. That kind of surprise makes the day brighter, doesn't it?

My favorite flower--but I prefer the blue variety. I can't grow them here, they are illegal. Seems we always want something we can't have.

It's so good to see some Morning Glories in bloom. Mine were all felled by the frost, save one small vine and it has only produced one flower.

Morning glories always make me smile. Welcome to Green Thumb Sunday!!

Morning Glory is a good name for a lovely flower, so simple - but perfect! Welcome to GTS!

LOVING your work. Amazing that fiber/textile artists share a love of gardening also, n'est pas? Morning glory is also considered a bit of a weed where I live, but I have a secret patch and love it.

I love Morning Glory too,it's always been my guilty secret, because where I live on the Northern Beaches in Sydney Australia, it is considered a weed.I thought I was the only one who loved this plant!
