baby quilt - top

This has kept me busy these last two afternoons

Now I'll have to piece a back as well :-)


I like making baby stuff by hand, sewing or knitting.
I have the feeling to give him (yes, I'm expecting a grand-nephew) more than an object. Of course I put a lot of love in every stitch, but also, it makes him part of the chain of life. I give him part of my experience, gathered from many women before me, and one day, he'll give that experience to the next generation.

Potentially addictive...

I was looking for patterns for babies, and I get there: I Think Sew.
The patterns are lovely, and easy to purchase online. And two days later, here they are:

I still need snaps for the lats two pairs, this why I used a pin on the pictures.
They are great to reduce your stash and to make a last minute gift.
The pattern comes in sizes 1 to 5. I made Size 5, 4 and 1.
