Monday, Gloomy Monday

What do you do when the autumn is coming?
When Monday is rainy, with dark clouds?

When you go back to your office, your grey office, where even the ficus is depressed?
I jumped into my car, towards the gardening center. Tada!
I don't know if the ficus feels better, but I do!
I found this ficus in a bin, when we moved from our former building to the one we are in now, I think it was 15 years ago. It had no leaves, just tiny dots of green to tell it was not dead, yet. While staying in the same building, I've been moving from room to room, and it has always followed, with more or less luck, depending on the amount of light available. It is a fighter.

How is your office? can you decorate it?

I work in a building that used to be a house before being converted into a business. No living plants there. My house is full of all of those begonias I fell in love with this summer. They are taking up all the window space in the house. Your ficus looks great. It seemed to perk up since you are back.

What a great idea adding that splash of color! It really brightens it up the plant and the corner of your office. That ficus just has to feel better! :)

I haven't worked in the last 12 years but when I had an office, my art director and I used to decorate it. Aside from artwork on the walls, rugs, cushions and a bar fridge with all the ingredients for magaritas, we always had a plant or 2. Your ficus does look quite sad for an unkillable plant! LOL.

I hope your Tuesday is looking better. Mine was a vast improvement from Monday. (It's already Wednesday here.)

I love the bright green pot!

I work in a PreK classroom, so our room is always decorated with kids' artwork wherever they can attach it to the wall! It's a pretty cheerful place. :)

I don't know, that ficus looked definitely cheered up! I have my framed Ikea fabrics and a small vase of orange gerbera flowers to match. They're fake, of course, but people still pick up the vase hoping for a whiff of fragrance.
