Then suddenly on Tuesday, snow made a quick appearance. No big deal in my area.
It was followed by a sunny but cold day, and even colder night.
Making the roads very slippery when it started to snow again this morning. No bus, and I'm not an expert driver, so I took the easy option of staying home.
It stopped snowing aroung 10 am, and it smelt right away. However, I had the time to take a few pictures.
This one is not mine, just a house in the village.
Now is the time for a nice cup of tea!
Take care!

Great pictures! I love the one with the snow on the rose!
I love that you didn't need heating till the snow fell. We start heating the house at about 16 degreesC ;)
Your poor rose has a hat of snow. Brrr, it looks cold. We have had a mild winter here so far. I hope you can get out tomorrow.
That seems very strange after you mild (thus far) winter! I wonder how long the snow will last.
Tu as la même quantité de neige que moi, ce n'est pas tout à fait normal:-)Maintenant il fait extrêmement froid ici, un temps idéal pour rester à la maison.
Bises

Beautiful snow photos. You are having a mild winter and we are having a mild summer. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
