Sharon has launched her new challenge for 2008.
We are going to Take It Futher.
Since I'm not presently in an admiring mood ;-), I'll try the colors palette.
Even that did not seem easy, until I realized they were the colors of olive tree, olives and lavender, i.e. the color of where I live.
So I gathered all the fabrics and threads I could find that would meet the palette, browsed through pictures of Provence, revisited some books and magazines. The idea is not completely clear yet, but not very far. I think it will evolve this weekend.
Anyway, it is nice to see many blogs already reporting on TIF, and taking each a different direction.
Have anice evening all!

Vero,
Thank you so much for the birthday greeting on my blog.
I didn't like the TIF colors until I read your blog about them reminding you of olive trees and lavender. Living in Northern California's wine country, I too have olive trees and lavender - in my own garden and in all the vineyards here in Sonoma Valley.
I may take an Art Trek next July to Nice! I'll be there for ten days staying in St. Jeannet. I'll tell you more when I'm sure I'll be joining the group. Here's the URL to Art Trek's website for the trip.

Your fabric and threads are very beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing your design.
Well done Vero, I would never have made that connection with the colours but now I can see how right you are.
Isn't it great, seeing all these gorgeous purples and greens showing up on everyone's blogs?
These are lovely, Vero.
Vero, Isn't it amazing how an idea has to grow in your mind whether you are creating a sewing project or a garden project. I can't wait to see what you do.
That is such a clever observation - I would never have made the connection. Good luck with your TIF creation!
