I went to a plant festival yesterday, and could not resist this one, some kind of ornithogalum.
This is a gift from my sister, several years ago. Like all other roses in my garden, the first years have been difficult, but it was worth helping it:
Some iris, also a gift from my sister. And behind them, you can see a very late narcissis...
Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

I like the orange flower and your roses and iris are so pretty.
The ornithogalum is beautiful! I've not seen the flowers before. Happy GTS,
Aiyana
Wonderful rose! Our vegetation is still far behind yours. The first rose bloom will probably be end of May...as every year! The ornithogalum has very special colour!
The roses are a beautiful shade of pink! You are about a month ahead of us. Like Barbara said, no roses here till the end of May or early June. Do you think perhaps the wall behind your bush protects it from wind and gives off absorbed heat.
We have those Ornithogalums here, too, and they're so cheery, appearing here in the stores in late winter. They're Ornithogalum dubium.
