Sunday

Hello to all!
It has been a 3-days weekend, since I had some overtime to convert into free time. I was lucky on Friday, the weather was gorgeous and I went for a walk in the hill:

Eh wait, those are supposed to bloom in spring!

and spent the rest of the day gardening.
Yesterday was completely different, heavy with rain, and today was a mix of the two. This did not upset me since I wanted to play with needles. Indeed, when I saw Etta's Santa in Quiltmania by Sandy Gervais, I just wanted to make my own. And here it is:

I saw another Santa by Sandy Gervais in the winter issue of Quiltmania,  I'm just as eager to make it...sigh...

Let's get prepared for the coming week. I hope yours will be good.

I love 3 day weekends! You have made good use of yours. We have Valerian growing wild in this part of NZ, in red, pink and white.

Love seeing that sunshine. Sunshine has been scarce around here. The Christmas Quilt you made is marvelous. I am glad you had a fun weekend. We did too.

How nice to have 3 lovely days to yourself.
We have a 4 day weekend coming up with Thanksgiving on Thursday.
I have Valerian in my garden. Such a pretty plant.
Your hill is a lovely place to walk.
I absolutely love your appliqued Santa quilt, Vero. You do such beautiful work!
We had a mix of sunshine and rain today as well. Our weather has been wintry lately but today's temperatures were mild, making a nice change.
I also love the scarves you made for your girls. What fun!
And the colors in your jeans applique are very pretty.
