I'll be off for the whole weekend, paying a quick visit to my in-laws near Agen. One of my niece is turning 18 and the whole family will be there to congratulate her. Apparently, she is very glad we can all make it, so its going to be fun.

It's great that you are still connected to your in-laws. I have remained connected to mine, too, though divorced 40 years ago. I've always enjoyed being with the Johns family more than my family-of-origin. And I remain close to two ex-daughters-in-law, whom I refer to as my daughters-in-love.
