It has been so hot that I needed something cool:
This is Crazy Noel (Noel=Xmas) by Laurence T. a young talented French Xstitch designer. I don't think she has a website...Now the temperature are getting slowly down. Enough to spend several hours in the garden yesterday, yeah, and to do some cooking this morning. I even prepared pasta for a pizza tonight. I wanted it to raise a bit, but not in the hot sun. I had a wonderful idea: at the bottom of the lemon tree, in the shadow. So I left the bowl here the whole afternoon... Well, how can I be that stupid???!!! Now I've got thousands of best friends, ant friends... and of course no pizza. I'm not happy at all.
Add to that that I decided the temperatures were no longer high enough to justify cat wet food. But the cat in chief does not share my opinion on that subject. She is very upset and very vocal... The evening is going to be very interesting, between my bad mood and hers... :-)
I hope yours will be better!

The ants thought you were celebrating the break in the weather with them. What a disappointment. Your christmas crossstich is not a disappointment though. It is quite lovely. It is good to get a start on christmas.
Vero, I had to laugh when I saw your cooling project -- did it help you cool down? As for the ants... I'm sorry about them. Maybe they'll share next time!
Ben tite précision :la vraie créatrice c'est la mère de Laurence t!!!!!le petit côté patch....Gros bisous et A BIENTOT?
Oh dear, well at least the ants are happy! Love the cross stitch! Suzie. xxx
oh you really crack me up!
sorry for the pizza though.
Heureuse de voir qu'il n'y a pas que moi, qui ai des visiteurs insolites. Les dernières d'énormes sauterelles vertes, qui mangent tout. Très beau ton "crazy noel".
Hello Vero! What? No picture of the ant-laden pizza? LOL
Oh dear, I'm sorry your delicious anticipated dinner was spoiled :)
You've been doing some beautiful work, as usual. You're a very talented seamstress.
You took some wonderful photos of Budapest. What a fascinating city!
I hope your daughter enjoys being in Australia. It's a fun place and the people are very friendly. She'll love the beaches! Especially the north shore beaches. Tell her she must visit Palm Beach, north of Sydney...it's near where I lived.
I'm just getting caught up on my reading. I'm sorry that the pizza was ruined and I'm sure it doesn't even matter anymore! The cross stitch is great...it's a reminder that Christmas really is coming on fast! My cat has now been banished from the bedroom. I just could not take her jumping on my head every night anymore. She started doing it a month or so ago. I have no idea why. She is not a happy camper being locked out of a room at night. I"m hoping that I can re-train her. ha ha ha ha
